I grew up in North Devon and currently live in London. That’s me on the threshold of the room where Basho wrote his first book of haiku. (If my smile looks a little fixed, it’s because there was a far-right demonstration taking place on the street outside, about ten yards away.)
Until recently I was a member of the editorial board of Magma Poetry and edited Magma 34. The UK Poetry Library has an archive of Magma 34, including audio recordings of many of the poets who contributed.
I also provide coaching and training for creative companies, via Wishful Thinking.
