Mark McGuinness

I grew up in North Devon and currently live in London. If you’re wondering about the surname, I inherited it from Ireland, via Scotland.

I’m a member of the editorial board of Magma Poetry and edited Magma 34. The UK Poetry Library has an archive of Magma 34, including audio recordings of many of the poets who contributed.

In my day job … I originally qualified as a psychotherapist. These days I mostly coach professional artists and consult for creative industries companies, via Wishful Thinking Creative Coaching.

My latest venture Is Lateral Action, a web publication about creativity, productivity and creative entrepreneurship, in partnership with Brian Clark and Tony D. Clark.
