Well, it’s been a long break. Even longer than the break at Wishful Thinking. Partly it was down to simply being busy with other things — running my business, launching Lateral Action. And partly because I wasn’t happy having the poetry blog as an appendage to the Wishful Thinking site — as you can see, it’s now ensconced in its rightful place at markmcguinness.com.
So, to those hardy souls who have maintained their RSS subscription since summer 2007 — welcome back! Thank you for your patience, I hope to reward it with more of the same kind of content, only a bit more regularly. If any of you have been kind enough to link to the site, I’d really appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind updating your link to the new URL.
And if you’re completely new to this site — welcome! As the tagline suggests, I use this blog as a notebook for jotting down thoughts about the poetry I’m reading, as well as a scrapbook of my own poems and other poetry related publications. Here’s what I’ve just written for the new About page:
